It also shares the same filter diameter as the Tamron 28-75mm, so polarizers and lens caps can also easily be shared.

Lens surfaces are treated with Tamrons proprietary Broad-Band Anti-Reflection (BBAR) coating, helping to preserve a crisp image quality while reducing ghosting and flaring.
